I have almost finished my latest Louis LAmour book, Bendigo Shafter. This is a typical Louis LAmour novel, this one tells the story of a guy Bendigo Shafter book started off in the story at 18 and had to make his own way in what was a growing western US world.

He is keen to educate himself, by reading books by various authors who were famous in the mids/5. If this isn't the first book in the series, it should be. All the other stories flow from the background this novel sets out. In the L'Amour western books there are just a few that stand out as incredible reads.
